Performance of KZN athletes at WTG 2011 Sweden
This Region is proud of their athletes who participated at the WTG 2011 in Sweden.
- Matthew Moffat: Gold in 50m freestyle & bronze in 100m breast stoke
- Sannie Liebenberg: Bronze in 3km race walk
- Jan de Kock: 11th Ten ipn bowling & reached quarter finals in pentanque
- Cathy de Beer: Gold in squash
- Anil Balmakund: Gold in squash
- Gunston Padayachee: 5th in discuss
- Derrick Pillay: Top 10 in golf
Activities:
Coaching: Negotiations are underway via the KZN Sports Council to obtain coaching for the athletes in order to prepare them for the 2012 National Games in Durban. Contact Gunston Padayachee for more details.

Organ donor partnership:
Following the very successful "Big Walk" event in 2011, the KZN Region of SATSA had formed a partnership with the Organ Donor Foundation to ensure joined awareness campaigns during 2012. Thanks to all the KZN SATSA members and Alison Reddi from ODF for their contributions to always ensure successful events.
