World Transplant Games 2011 Sweden
The Regional Committee is very proud of the following persons who participated with distinction:

Gerhard van Dyk: Silver in the virtual Tri-athlon	Kosie Laubscher: Bronze in shot put & gold in discus (World record)	Harold Moore: Silver medals in 50m butterfly, 200m & 50m freestyle as well as bronze in 100m freestyle

Kobus Weideman: Bronze in squash	Sakkie vd Westhuizen: Silver in high jump

A submission for funding was made to the Western Cape Department of Arts, Culture and Sport in partnership with the Western Province Sports Council for development funding. The Department had been funding us to the tune of ten thousand rand per year for the last two years and we are confident that we've made a compelling case for an increase. We are committed to create opportunities for new members, especially those from disadvantages communities, to attend the National Games in August. We are fortunate to have the services of a very good coach in the person of Cyril Lawless who is prepared to journey with SATSA at a greatly reduced price.
